Motorola projector phones refused to go down quietly.
This iconic piece of technology which brought alive the big-screen experience for millions of cinema-deprived Indians, went out in style. Its farewell inspired a full blown road-trip across several Maharashtrian villages deprived of the big screen experience. A road-trip, a documentary, and a photo-series later, it led to the revival of a dying 70-year old Indian film tradition. This is perhaps the last known commercial documentation of
the tambu talkies. Also known as, the "great Indian travelling talkies".
