Youtube smart offline was all about saving data by finding a loophole in the system
(Scheduling video downloads at night when data is cheaper). So, even its Effie case study had to be
data-conscious. That's when the Effie jury woke up to a case video made entirely with Gifs.

Our case video used no HD videos or stock images or stock footages. We made it data-light by stitching it entirely, with GIFs.
For the first time, Effie jury saw a case video streaming lightning fast even on patchy data.
