Youtube smart offline was all about saving data by finding a loophole in the system -
scheduling video downloads at night when data is cheaper.
So, even its Effie case study had to be data-conscious. 

Our case video used no HD videos or stock images or stock footages. We made it data-light by stitching it entirely with GIFs.
Just to give the jury a glimpse of lightning fast streaming with minimal data.
